Up for sale is an original WWII German Karabiner 98k (K98k) bolt-action rifle, manufactured in 1945 (Waffen Werke Brünn, Brno, Czechoslovakia). This rifle is in military configuration, and features a pristine bore with sharp rifling.
This rifle is in excellent condition for a late-war piece. The wood appears to be lightly oiled or aged naturally—no signs of recent refinishing or sanding. All stamps are crisp and legible with the exception of the Waffenamt, which is present but worn (common for 1945 rifles). Bore is pristine with no visible pitting. Bolt action is smooth and cycles properly.
